On August 13, 2014, GE Healthcare 's Life Sciences Division announced the appointment of Olivier Loeillot as General Manager of Biotechnology Asia Business. In this new position, Olivier will be responsible for the business activities of GE Healthcare's rapidly growing biotechnology business in the fast-growing Asian market. Biotechnology provides innovative technologies and services throughout the biopharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing industries. Olivier is now reporting to Emmanuel Ligner, General Manager of GE Biotechnology Global Business, and is based in Singapore. He also continues to serve as General Manager of Enterprise Solutions.
Prior to taking up this new position in Asia, Olivier was General Manager of Enterprise Solutions at GE Healthcare Life Sciences. Previously, he worked for Lonza and held leadership positions in general management, business development and sales. In 1993, Loeillot received his master's degree from the European Institute of Advanced Chemistry in Strasbourg, France. Subsequently, he obtained an MBA from the Lyon Business School.
