The reason why Pleurotus ostreatus is not mushroom or abnormal

During the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus, the mature mushroom bed has not been mushroomed, or the mushroom bed of 1~2 tidal mushroom has been adopted. The phenomenon of no longer normal mushrooming is more common. The reasons are as follows:

1. Material temperature is high. The mature mushroom bed of mycelium culture, if there is no effect of lower temperature, the material temperature drops slowly. If the material temperature is higher than the mushrooming temperature range, the primordium is not easy to occur, and this phenomenon is most common in the low-temperature varieties planted in autumn.

2. Environmental discomfort. The ambient temperature of the mushroom bed is higher than the mushrooming temperature range of the cultivar, or lower than the temperature of the mushrooming temperature of the cultivar, resulting in the phenomenon that no mushroom or mushroom is no longer normal. The former occurs in spring, summer and autumn, while the latter occurs in the cold winter season.

3. Accumulated temperature is insufficient. When planted at low temperature, the mycelium grows slowly for a long period of time. Although the germination time is longer, due to the lack of effective accumulated temperature, the physiological maturity of the mycelium is not enough. In addition, whenever the planting, the temperature difference before the mushrooming changes too much, it is not conducive to mushrooming.

4. Insufficient moisture. During the bacteria-producing period, due to too many uncovered membranes, poor coverage, or moisture in the soil, the water content of the culture material may be reduced, or the surface of the mushroom bed may be dehydrated and dried. In addition, after the mushroom production body consumes a large amount of moisture from the culture material, If the mushroom bed is not filled with enough water, it will cause abnormal mushrooming phenomenon after mushrooming or turning tide.

5. Mycelium grows long. If the moisture content of the culture material is too high, the humidity on the surface of the mushroom bed will be saturated, and the change in the wet/dry difference will be small, which will cause the hypha to grow in length and form a thick fungal skin on the surface of the mushroom bed.

6. Impact of pests. After contaminating the mushroom bed with bacteria, it will not only compete with the mushroom mycelium for nutrients, but also secrete harmful substances and inhibit the normal growth of Pleurotus ostreatus. When pests invade the mushroom bed, they will bite the mushroom mycelia and make the mushroom flat. Mycelium ruptured and lost water. The pests and diseases of the mushroom bed, Pleurotus ostreatus normal physiological metabolism and material conversion can be destroyed, and then cause no mushrooms. This phenomenon can occur during the whole period of mushroom production.

7. Bad ventilation. Poor ventilation of the mushroom bed, poor oxygen supply, high carbon dioxide concentration in the membrane, and weak light, are not conducive to mushrooming. This phenomenon is more common in underground mushroom farms.

During the cultivation process, careful management should be carried out according to the characteristics of the oyster mushroom at various stages of its growth, so as to avoid causing the occurrence of above-mentioned non-stick or abnormal mushrooming factors, and to obtain stable and high yield.
