How to store feed at high temperature

The high temperature season also coincides with the high humidity season. Animal feed is rich in nutrients and has strong hygroscopicity. If it is improperly kept, it will be very susceptible to mildew and worms, causing loss. The storage measures of the feed in the hot season are described below. Animal protein feeds such as silkworm cocoon, bone meal, fish meal, bone meal and other animal protein feeds are highly susceptible to mildew and insects in high temperature seasons, lighter nutrients are reduced, affect the feeding effect, and seriously lose feed value. Causes waste. This type of feed is generally not used in large quantities and is preferably packaged in plastic bags. In order to prevent heat from mildew caused by moisture, seal it with a plastic bag and store it in a dry, ventilated place. During the preservation period, the temperature must be checked and if it is heated, it must be dealt with promptly. The fat cake feed storage oil cake feed is composed of protein, a variety of vitamins, fats and other substances, the surface without a natural protective layer, so easy to mold deterioration, poor storage. To store this type of feed during stacking, first level the floor and lay a layer of linoleum, or pad it with 20 cm thick dry sand to prevent moisture. The pancakes should be piled into a wall of air, with each cake staggered by 20 centimeters. Stacking is generally not more than 25 stories high. The water content of the newly manufactured oil cake is higher than 5%. Therefore, when stacking, a layer of oil cake must be piled on a layer of sorghum stalk or dry straw, which is both airy and moisture-absorbing. In addition, the fat and oil cake feed should be used as soon as possible after crushed, so that it can be crushed with use. Feeds for additive feeds The storage of feed additives should be based on different types and their properties. For some fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, etc.) that are prone to oxidative failure, ethoxyquins can be used for anti-oxidation treatment; for hygroscopicity, Easy to agglomerate (calcium DL acid) feed, can add calcium oxide to prevent agglomeration, and add appropriate amount of sodium carbonate, can prevent vitamins from failure under acidic conditions; Trace element additives in the carbonate, sulfate, iodide, etc. It is particularly easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate. Silicate should be added to prevent the formation of agglomerates during storage of this kind of feed. It can also be sealed and stored in 2 to 3 layers of plastic bags.
