Analysis on Causes of Self-extinguishing of Combine Harvester

During the use of the combine harvester, it often encounters the phenomenon of engine self-extinguishment. To eliminate such failures, the situation should be clearly identified. After the cause of the failure is identified, it is targeted to be eliminated. There are mainly three kinds of failures in the phenomenon of self-extinguishing of the combine harvester.
First, the engine speed is gradually reduced before the flameout, and the exhaust pipe emits black smoke. Most of the reasons for this failure are caused by the blockage of the working parts of the combine harvester. In this case, check whether the working parts of the combine harvester, drum, etc. are clogged. If there is a blockage, the engine can normally be restarted after the blockage is cleared. Something that needs to be explained is that if the engine suffers from poor lubrication, there is a bush-shaft-burning accident. This phenomenon also occurs. In this case, the engine should be removed and the engine repaired.

Second, the engine speed before the flameout instability or slow decline, but the exhaust pipe did not obviously black smoke phenomenon. The reason for this failure is mostly caused by poor fuel supply to the engine. In this case, check whether the fuel in the fuel tank is exhausted, whether the oil supply of the oil pump is normal, whether there is debris in the sediment cup inlet port, and whether the diesel filter is dirty. If the diesel filter is dirty, the diesel filter should be removed, cleaned and reinstalled, and the air in the oil circuit removed.

Third, the machine did not reduce the speed before the flameout process, showing a sudden flameout. The reason for this failure is mostly caused by sudden interruption of engine oil supply or sudden increase in load. In this case, first check whether the engine parts suddenly loose or fall off. For the engine controlled by the flameout solenoid valve to control the high-pressure oil pump pull rod, check whether the flameout solenoid valve is powered off.
