4. Pay attention to the tension of the fan belt. The fan belt is too loose and slippery, which intensifies wear and increases consumption of momentum. The general requirement is: When the thumb is pressed in the middle of the belt, the belt sagging amount is in the range of 10-12mm.
5. Use the thermostat correctly. Thermostats are available in both automatic (eg thermostat) and manual (eg thermal screens and blinds). Some drivers think that the sky is hot in summer, and the lower the water temperature, the better, and often remove the thermostat. In doing so, when the cold car starts, it will greatly prolong the warm-up time of the engine and accelerate the wear of the parts. Therefore, the thermostat should not be removed during the summer. The insulation curtains and shutters are used to adjust the amount of air passing through the radiator. In general, no curtains are needed in summer, and blinds should be placed in their fully open position.
6. The correct choice of oil. In summer, the temperature is high, diesel with a higher freezing point can be used, and the correctness of the fuel feeding angle should be ensured. In addition, special attention should also be given to preventing the oil supply system from leaking oil.
