Precautions for extending the life of the filter bag :
1 , Â The filter bag is clogged. When the filter bag is clogged, the resistance is increased and can be expressed by the increase in the reading of the differential pressure gauge. The clogging of the filter bag is the main cause of the phenomenon of wear, perforation and shedding of the filter bag.
Causes the filter bag to clog
( 1 ) Temporarily strengthen the cleaning to eliminate the blockage of the filter bag;
( 2 ) replacing the filter bag partially or completely;
( 3 ) Adjust installation and operating conditions.
2 , Â Damage to the filter bag. The shape of the filter bag and the installation method and mechanism of the filter bag determine the position where the filter bag is easily broken, and thus can be inspected and repaired. However, the filter bag is mainly damaged due to the following reasons. If the damage occurs, refer to the following table for inspection:
3 , Â The aging of the filter bag. Mainly due to the following reasons, it is necessary to conduct a cause investigation, take elimination measures and replace the filter bag.
( 1 ) hardening shrinkage due to abnormally high temperature;
( 2 ) by contact with a vapor of an acid, a base or an organic solvent;
( 3 ) reacting with water
4 , Â Filter cloth should not be too loose or too tight, too loose and easy to accumulate dust, too tight and easy to pull.
5 , Â The old filter bags of the new process should not be mixed to avoid the damage of the time affecting the normal operation of the equipment.
6 , Â Replace the filter bag, first blow it with compressed air, and then check for holes. After the hole is repaired, it is left to be replaced. If it is dusty filter bag, rinse with water, dry and leave to be replaced.
