Application Method of Probiotic Liquid in Flowers
1. Production of Probiotic Activation Solution: Start by mixing 1 kg of nutrients with three times the amount of hot water, then add 5 kg of water. Once the temperature drops below 35°C, add the probiotic liquid, mix well, and seal the container. Let it ferment for 7 to 15 days. When you open the container and smell a sour odor, it means the fermentation is complete, and you now have the activation solution. This solution can be diluted 100 to 200 times for foliar spraying or as a root drench.
2. Fermentation Base Fertilizer: Prepare a base fertilizer using the following formula: 20% chicken manure (or dried cake), 30% edible fungus residue, 30% garden soil, and 20% deciduous humus under trees. Mix all the ingredients together. For every 100 kg of the mixture, add 0.3 kg of probiotics and nutrients, along with enough water to moisten the substrate. Spray the mixture while mixing thoroughly, aiming for a moisture content of 35-45%. Then pile the mixture on the ground, cover it with a plastic sheet, and let it ferment. In summer and autumn, fermentation takes about 7-10 days, while in winter it may take 15-20 days. After fermentation, mix the material with red loam soil in a 1:2 ratio, adding some husk ash (or plant ash) and an appropriate amount of compound fertilizer for potting.
3. Root Drenching: Dilute the probiotic activation solution 100-200 times and apply it directly to the roots once a week or every two weeks. It’s best to do this when watering the plants, especially after pouring dry water. You can also use leftover soybeans, peanuts, or sesame seeds that are slightly moldy. Soak these materials in 0.3% probiotic activation fluid for fermentation before applying them to the roots of potted plants. Apply this method every two months without additional fertilizer.
4. Foliar and Flowering Spraying: Mix the probiotic liquid with an equal amount of nutrients to create a 500-fold dilution. Spray the leaves once a month. During flowering, early bloom, mid-bloom, and late bloom stages, spray a solution containing 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate. It’s best to perform foliar and flowering sprays after 4:00 PM to avoid direct sunlight.
5. Post-Application Benefits: Plants treated with this method show stronger seedlings, thicker leaves, darker green foliage, brighter flowers, and extended blooming periods.
