So far, China's cultivation of edible fungi basically does not use pine, fir shavings. A new technique for the treatment of pine and cedar shavings is described below. First, the heap method (1) China has Masson pine, Huangshan pine, red pine, black pine, Yunnan pine and cedar, etc., can be used. The time for collecting pine and cedar shavings is best in the south in the winter. At this time, the sawdust is rich in nutrients. However, in the cold winter in the north, the sawdust is easy to freeze, and it is difficult to add water. Therefore, the north should be collected in spring and summer. (2) The collected pine and fir swarf are separately piled on the surface of the open concrete floor. The size of the stockyard depends on the scale of production. The stock yard should be slightly higher in the middle, lower in the surrounding area, and there should be ditch and no water accumulation. The pile is generally 5-10 meters wide, unlimited length, 2-3 meters high, rectangular or square pile can be. (3) The wood chips collected should be sprinkled with water on the edge of the pile, and the wood chips should be wet and permeable, and the wood chips should always be kept moist. The time for composting pine and Chinese fir is generally 6-12 months (including 6-10 months for pine shavings and 8-12 months for pine chips). Piled pine, fir shavings standard: no aromatic odor (or very light), yellow-brown appearance, soft to the touch, water content of about 60%, basically do not add water when mixing. Third, pay attention (1) collected wood chips edge watering, so that the wood chips wet; (2) should always water, keep the wood chips moisture content is saturated, and the water around the material pile is often out; (3) must have adequate stacking Time (6-12 months); (4) During the composting process, it should be turned 2-3 times to make the wood chips pile up evenly. The accumulation of pine, fir crumbs by water can be cultivated mushroom, mushroom, Pleurotus eryngii and other rare edible fungi, can also cultivate Pleurotus, hair fungus, black fungus and other conventional varieties.
