Huang Yu's autumn and winter management techniques

Into the fall and winter season, temperatures began to gradually decline. From August to September, the temperature dropped to 28-24°C, which is the golden season for the growth of Astragalus. When the temperature dropped to 24-13°C from September to October, the food intake of Astragalus began to decrease until it stopped. After the temperature dropped below 10°C in November, the jaundice entered hibernation. Practice has proved that how feeding and management in autumn and winter seasons directly affect the efficiency of the entire breeding program. Strengthen the management of autumn, winter and winter in Chengyu must focus on four key issues:

1, long-term expectation. In the early autumn, when the temperature is between 28-24°C, the activity of the jaundice is extremely active, and the food intake is greatly increased. It is a crucial period for fattening and increasing maggots. Try to feed fresh, full-feeding, fresh foods, and warm the climate at 9-11 a.m. every morning. Feed one meal at a time. If the source of natural food is not enough, you can feed fish meal, blood meal, soybean cake and other animal and plant proteins, and mix in a small amount of compound amino acids and multivitamins.

2, cold and warm. Astragalus membranaceus is a temperature-changing animal. When the pool water temperature drops in the late autumn, the body temperature also decreases, life activities start to weaken, and growth gradually slows or even stops growing. Artificial cold-warming can relatively prolong the growth period of jaundice, that is, using a transparent plastic film to set up artificial warm sheds above the lagoon, which can ensure normal light and can effectively reduce heat loss, and can extend the growth period by about one month. The high yield is very significant.

3, safe winter. When the temperature drops below 10°C in November of each year, the jaundice will stop feeding and enter a dormant period. For those who have failed to reach the market specifications or are prepared to stay on the high price during the Spring Festival, Huang Hao has been involved in the issue of safe wintering. There are two main methods: First, the dry pool winter. After the yellow locust has stopped feeding, the pool water is allowed to dry until the yellow locust sneaked into the bottom of the pool and covered with 15-20 cm thick turfgrass or crop stalks. Keep the sediment wet and free of ice. Covers should not be over-packed to prevent suffocation of yellow suffocation; second, deep water overwintering. That is, before the yellow eel enters the wintering period, the pool water is raised to about 1 m, allowing it to hibernate into the underwater soil and hibernate. During the winter, if the pool water is frozen, it is necessary to manually break the ice in case of a prolonged period of ice-coldness and cause the lack of oxygen in the pool. In addition, we should pay close attention to the depth of the pool water to prevent it from freezing and killing the yellow peony.

4. The trapping was initiated and most fish farmers used the method of whole pool excavation to start catching. Not only the amount of labor was large, but also the rate of damage caused by catching yellow locust was high. We have developed a simple trapping method in practice, which is both easy to operate and does not hurt the body. The effect is excellent.

The method of operation is: (1) sterilize the thicker new grass (preferably the straw harvested in the year) or turfgrass in 5% lime solution for a day and night, then rinse with fresh water, and leave it for 2 days; (2) Place mats Spread one by one into the surface layer of sediment in Dianchi, sprinkle with 5 cm thick straw or wheat straw, and then spread the second layer of straw mats. Then, sprinkle 10 cm thick dry straw on the second layer of straw mats; (3) When the water temperature When the temperature drops below 13°C, the pool water is gradually set to 6-10 cm deep. When the temperature drops below 10°C, the pool water is thoroughly drained. At this time, due to the "inversion layer effect" of the straw layer, the temperature is high. In the mud layer, it can be effectively introduced into the grass and between the two layers of grass mats; (4) Do not remove the straw one time when collecting the jaundice. First lay a plastic film on the side and remove the hay. When uncovering the grass, if there are more Tibetan mastiffs in the straw, the wet grass can be moved to the plastic film together with the straw mat to clean it. At the same time, the yellow-billed bonito shall be picked up with a small dip net. This method can ensure long-term stability of the Astragalus group among the mud between the grass and the mat and will not escape.
