The damage is mainly caused by damage to the leaves. The symptoms were not obvious at the early stage after the victimization. The body has a ring in the posterior segment, about 120 rings in the abdomen and 60 rings in the back. Each side of the body has four sets of bristles arranged in one row, and two long bristles at the end. Egg diameter is about 0.04mm, round, yellowish white, translucent. Life habits are more than 10 generations old, mainly wintering in the back of leaves. In late spring, breeding began and the generations in the fields overlapped. Anhui, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu took place in June-August, and Fujian took heavy from July to October. Temperature 25 °C, complete 1 generation only 13 - 14 days, of which the egg period 5 days, young quail, if the frog period 4-5 days, 4 days before the oviposition, adult life of 6-7 days. The average temperature is 32°C and the first generation is only 10 days. Each female lays 16-28 eggs, scattered on the leaf surface. Non-overwintering inhabits a large number of leaves or leaf veins on either side of the main vein or depression. Temperature 25-28 °C, relative humidity 70%-80% and easy to occur under low rainfall conditions. Heavy rainfall occurred in July and August in Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
